Abstract:
Draft Workshop Plan for Zotero Workshop for Summer 2013 with Laurie Taylor, Blake Landor, and Peggy McBride. Draft description, to be updated: This workshop will provide background on Zotero and hands-on using Zotero. Zotero is a free, easy-to-use, and award-winning tool that runs in a web browser and helps you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources. Zotero is a tool for the full research process for research, teaching, and collaboration. Because Zotero is free, it can be used by anyone regardless of institutional affiliation and support. Zotero’s availability makes it an excellent tool for students and researchers who may move organizations, and for collaborating with others across institutions. This workshop will cover Zotero for individual use, teaching, and collaboration with Zotero Groups. The workshop will also mention other connected and related tools and resources like MONK.
