Abstract: Filming of the Rada rite at Société Halouba at Manbo Elizabeth's ounfò (temple) in Little Haiti, Miami, Florida in May of 2012. Azaka Mede arrives at the ceremony via multiple chwal. He can be identified by a straw hat and bag, bartering of the goods in his basket, a pipe, asking for money, greeting people through ritual steps, dancing, etc. His departure is indicated by flailing and often falling to the ground.
