PRODUCTION IN COMPARISON WITH A YEAR AGO, JUST NOMINAL. PRODUCTION WAS UNOFFICIALLY\
WITH A RESULTING LIGHT REDUCTION IN STOCKS REPORTED AS HEAVIER THAN A YEAR AGO BY AN
AND A LOW WORLD PRICE LEVEL AN PRACTI- INCREASING PERCENTAGEE OVER THE COMPARATIVE
UALLY ALL DAIRY PRODUCTS, CAUSED A REVERS-OcTOB'ER PRODUCTI-ON. MANY MANUFACTURERS

ATION WAS REFLECTED IN AN INCREASING CONVERTED INTO OTHER PRODUCTS, IT -ELPED

INCREASE. IT APPEARS QUITE PROBABLE THAT UNSETTLEDNESS. .WITH SUPPLIES FULLY AMPLE
THE BULK OF THE INCREASE WAS THE RESULT FOR A COMPARATIVELY LIGHT DEMAND,. AND
OF THE DIVERSION OF MILK FROM OTHER WITH PRODUCTION INCREASING, THE MARKET WAS
PRODUCTS TO EVAPORATED MILK, RATHER THAN IN BUYERS' FAVOR THROUGHOUT THE MONTH.
A MATERIALLY INCREASED MILK FLOW. FOR PRODUCTION OF CONDENSED MILK DURING
THE PERIOD JANUARY TO OCTOBER, 1930, OCTOBER SHOWED' AN INCREASE OF 33% OVER
INCLUSIVE, THE PRODUCTION OF EVAPORATED SEPTEMBER, BUT STILL FELL AROUND 10/ SHORT
MILK FELL 6.3% SHORT OF THAT FOR THE OF OCTOBER, 1929. SEPTEMBER PRODUCTION,
SAME PERIOD IN 1929. ON THE OTHER HAND, WAS 220 LIGHTER THAN A
A YEAR AGO. STOCKS OF CONDENSED MILK ON
HEAVIER PRODUCTION DURING OCTOBER NOVEMBER I SHOWED A SHORTAGE OF 17/ IN
IS REFLECTED IN AN INCREASE IN STOCKS COMPARISON WITH EVE. DATE A YEAR AGO, -
DESPITE THE COMPARATIVELY ACTIVE TRADING AND SLIGHTLY OVER 8b IN COMPARISON WITH
