Video oral history of anthropologist Walter Goldschmidt conducted by UF Professor Charles Wagley. Dr. Goldschmidt discusses the people and events that were influential in his career, his contemporaries at the University of California-Berkeley and Columbia University, his work in East Africa, and his term as president of the American Anthropolgical Association. Video is from the "History of Anthropology" series produced by the University of Florida's Department of Anthropology in conjunction with the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research.
