of foreign proposed standards-related rules has been provided for the
information and comment of interested agencies and firms. The Technical

Yugoslavia. The Yugoslav Federal Institute of Standardization has proposed
a law entitled "Regulations on the Quality of Refreshing Non-Alcoholic
Drinks." The proposed law sets out the minimum quality standards and the
minimal conditions which must be observed to maintain the quality of the
above products during their manufacture and marketing.
EEC. The European Economic Community has proposed a "Commission Regulation
Establishing Quality Standards for Leeks, Aubergine/Eggplant, Marrows."
The Commission Regulation establishes quality standards for these products
which are intended for fresh delivery to the consumer.
EEC. The 37th Commission Directive Amending the Annexes to Council
Directive 70/524/EEC Concerning Additives in Feedstuffs has proposed
authorizing the use in feedstuffs of canthaxanthin as a coloring matter and
of arprinocid as a coccidiostat. It also extends the period of
authorization of certain emusifiers.
