Northern Caribbean Sales Team


You are invited to join a FAS sponsored sales team to the Bahamas,
Antigua and Guadaloupe, November 8-16, 1979. The team will be made
up of 6-8 firms of non-competiting lines on a first-come sign-up
basis. The countries to be visited are dollar markets for a wide
variety of food products. U.S. products with the best sales potential
are as follows:

Meat Products. Beef, pork, veal, offals, meats in brine, canned meats.

Poultry Products. Whole chicken and turkey, chicken and turkey parts,
canned chicken.

Fruits and Vegetables. Apples, pears, grapes, raisins, prunes, lettuce,
onions, cabbage, garlic.

Processed Fruits and Vegetable Products. Peaches, pears, fruit cock-
tail, corn, peas, beans, mixed vegetables, fruit juices, jellies and
jams.

Dairy Products. Dried cream and milk, cheese, cream and milk sub-
stitutes.

Other products of opportunity in these markets include textured soybean
protein and blended grain products, baby food, snack food, bakery products,
wine, peanuts, mayonaise, sauces, soups, dried peas, beans and lentils,
jams and jellies, pet food and seafood.
