to be held in New Orleans, February 8-10, 1979. The show is sponsored by the
Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) and the Foreign Agricultural
Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Marketing personnel from
the 15 state SUSTA organization with assistance from FAS have personally contacted
the trade in 30 countries promoting this exhibit. It will be the largest food
and agricultural trade show in the United States devoted exclusively to the
export market. To reserve an exhibit booth it is suggested that you contact
the following without delay: Herbert Stone, SUSTA, International Trade Mart,
Suite 338, 2 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. Telex: 584319
SUSTA NLN. Telephone: (504) 568-5986.

Morocco soybean oil tenders. Confusion about the procedure in dissemination of
SMorocco soybean oil tenders has been clarified in recent meetings of the U.S.
Agricultural attache with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Ministry
will continue its longstanding practise of acting as the sole tendering agent
for private importers and of closing tenders after two to five days. These
tenders are telexed to numerous companies, including several U.S. multinationals
in Western Europe. Any U.S. firm not receiving these telexes and wishing to
be put on Ministry list may request such action by contacting: Monsieur Le
Chef, Du Servie Industries Alimentaires, Et Agricoles, Direction De L'Industrie,
Minister Du Commerce Et De L'Industrie, Rabat, Morocco. Telex: 31872.
