International Days American Royal Livestock Show, November 6-17, 1982.

The Kansas and Missouri Departments of Agriculture and MIATCO, (Mid-America
International Agri-Trade Council) in cooperation with the Foreign Agricultural
Service and the American Royal Association are planning another International Program
at the 1982 American Royal.

The American Royal Livestock Show which takes place November 6-17 in Kansas City,
Missouri brings together animals from the best herds in the nation. Last year this
show had more than 7,000 cattle, swine, horses and sheep entered in the various
classes. A show of this size provides an excellent opportunity for foreign buyers to
view as well as purchase outstanding foundation stock for their herds.

The objective of the International Program at the Royal is to inform foreign buyers
of the Royal, invite them to attend, and assist them in the location and purchase of
selected animals for export. The show is designed to promote, stimulate and
coordinate the sale of livestock to the foreign buyer. The Kansas and Missouri
Departments of Agriculture and MIATCO will give personal attention to each visitor
and will be happy to assist them with any special needs. Arrangements will be made
to provide a registration and information center, interpreter service, and tours of
local livestock operations.
