part of the continuing efforts to increase the sale and consumption of U.S.
foods and agricultural products overseas, the Foreign Agricultural Service
(FAS) through the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), will sponsor a U.S.
Foods Exhibit in Taiwan. This promotion of U.S. food products will be
directed toward retailers, wholesalers, the hotel/restaurant, new-to-market
firms, institutional trade, and their suppliers. on the basis of advice from
the Agricultural Officer, the following U.S. products should be of primary
interest to the food trade in Taiwan: canned and fresh fruits and vegetables.,
ginseng products (natural and cultivated); health food items; canned abalone;
coffee and creamer (non-dairy); cheese and long life milk; baby foods;
cereals; dried fruits and nuts; canned juices and soft drinks; snack and
