Debe procurar, no s61o que la comida sea agradable tanto
al gusto como a la vista,' ino que sea coam refinada, Intima,
que proporcione moments que se guste recorder siemnpre.
Esta es una de las cosas bellas de otros tiempom que cami n
. ha perdido en la actualidad. Hay la ilusi6n de que elio ha
ocurrido por las exigencies de la vida modern que muchas
encuentran tan active, tan dinhmica.
A menudo la hora de comida es la 6nica ocasi6n en que
la familiar se redne para forjar ese lazo que debera perpetual
el amor filial, i pero cuAntas veces sucede todo lo contrarid
La discordia campea por su respeto. El padre estA preocu-
pado con los negocios y la situacid6n mundial... la madre
siente que la responsabilidad de la casa la apabulla y desea
compartirla con su compafiero, lo cual es muy 16gico...

comida como si fuese la iltima vez que vamos a comer
juntos por hucho tiempo. Sin discusiones, sin regafios, sin
recriminaciones, con excepci6n de alguna palabra a los
mAs pequeflitos en lo que respect a la forma de comer.
Asi disfrutamos dc buena digesti6n y gozasomx de paz en
nuestro hogar."

dor. Pero muchas de las comidas mis amenas sc han lle-
vado a caho en nuestras vidas con los accesorlos mas sen-
cilloa y baratos del mundo. Cualquier tazoncito con flores
silvestres. un sencillo mantel a cuadros ... un mend econ6-
mico pero bien servido. .. todo sazonado con la sal de la
buena conversaci6n, es tan grato como la cena mis enco.

Muchas de las casas moderns han abandonado el come-
dor en el sentido antiguo del vocablo. Los arquitectos con-

comedor que a deshoras se puede convertir en un sal6n de
baile o de diversi6n, o bien se coloca un coquet6n jueguito
de comedor en una esquina a manera de "desayunador".
Todo esto le roba a las comidas aquel aire de elegancia
y ceremonial que tenian, pero todavfa se puede gozar de la
placentera reuni6n familiar en la misma intimidad. Esta
es otra de las razones por la cual la mujer de Boy pone
mis empefio que nunca en hacer las comidas atractivas y
atraventes, para rodear a los suyos del cariflo, confort y
bienestar que es y Viempre ha sido, el mayor anhelo de
toda madre de familiar.
