and in many cases did happen.
Every inning the base paths were
crowded with runners as Diablo
left 15 men stranded and Cristo-
bal ten. Rain halted the game in
the early Innings. Joe Torpev and
Tommy La Borda were ejected
from the ball game, and in gen-
eral It was a hot contest from
Start to finish,
Al Kubski opened the second
inning with a double starting a
rally that netted Cristobal two
runs. Pep BaseuM hit a two bag-
ger scoring Kubsil, and Dean
Wood followed working a base on
balls. Tex Warfield grounded to
Eastham who forced Wood at
second and Baselici moved to
third.
La Sorda grounded to Farrotto
forcing Warfield at second and
Baselici scored on the play. Ed
Yaeger singled but Koshorek flied
out ending the inning.
La Sorda started on the mound
for Cristobal and was red hot dur-
ing the first five Innings as he
hurled no hit, no run ball at the
Diablo batters. In the sixth the
bottom fell out as Diablo pushed
across ftive runs.
