The University of Florida Technology Innovations Advisory Committee (TIAC) and the Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere (CHPS) invite all UF researchers and instructors (faculty, lectur -ers, teaching assistants with their own classes) for the years second Interface seminar Thursday, April 26th from 9 am to 4:15 pm, a joint event with the rst annual UF Digital Humanities Day. This seminar is themed around Open Resources, Open Possibilities, and will include 10-minute lightning talks, roundtables, posters, and re -freshments, including lunch. The complete schedule for the event is available online: http://interface.at.u.edu A free lunch will be provided; however, seating is limited and registration (no fee) is required. All instructors at -tending the face-to-face program will be entered in a drawing to win a free iPad. You must be present to win.The seminar is designed to engage attendees in demonstra-tions, discussion and networking focused on improving teaching, learning, research, and public engagement by deploying innovative pedagogy and research using new and emerging technologies. Faculty Seminar participants will have opportunities for discussion with both present ers and peers. This event is intended as a face-to-face forum; however, the lightning rounds and keynote will be live streamed. The breakout table sessions will be available online as well.
