Dear Dr. Grover,
The fellowship with provisions for foriegn travel
has been granted. School in winter, travel in summer. I had to
come on to New York at once and so I cannot come to Florida -this
winter. Too sorry about it too..
Tried to get east in time to catch Mr. Lippin-
cott, but couldn't. Shall run down to talk to him as soon as I
find hat he has returned. I shall be envying you all your
pleasures. I shall wish that I were you talking with him, and I
shall w~ish I were he(?) talking with you. I feel wofully cheated.
I still think that he is wonderful.
I have been snatched about so much in the last
ten days that I have had no holidays pleasures at all. I haven't
the faintest-idea of a present or a card.Whlken my mail is forwar-
ded from Chicago, perhaps I shall find some. I didn't try to write
until I had a temporary adress,a)r least. Please give my love to
all thast; you know I am fond of.
