Video oral history of anthropologist Elizabeth Colson conducted by anthropologist Charles Wagley. Dr. Colson discusses the people and events that were influential in her career including her work in Central Africa and her affiliation with the Rhodes-Livingstone Institute. She also discusses the opportunities that were afforded women anthropologists at that time. Video is from the "History of Anthropology" series produced by the University of Florida's Department of Anthropology in conjunction with the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research.
