VII of said C'ode allowing a waiting period prior to the effiective~
date after the filingr of revised~ schedules be stayed for a period
of sixty (60) dayvs from thle effective date of this C'ode does not, ap-
pear as a condition of the approval of the Code of Fair Comlpetition
for the Small Arms andt Almmunition Mannufacturiing Indurstry.

SIR. ThIS is a report on a proposed Supplemental Admninistrative
Order amending the Order of Approval for, the rCode of Fair
Clompetitioni for the Small Arms and Anununition Mlanufacturing
InlutThis Co~de wa~s approvedl by me onl March 22, 1934, and Article
VII, Sect~ion 3, of this Code provides a awaiting period prior to the
effective date. after thle filinfi of revised price schedules.
In conformance with Office Order 63, dated January 25, 1934,
thie Supplemental Admninistrati ve Order amends my Order of Ap-
provanl of this Code to provide a star for a. period of sixty (60) days
from the effective date of this Code, or after the completion of a
study of open price association now being conducted by~ t~he National
Recovery~ Adlministrantion, before the provisions in Article VII, See-
tion 3. per~taining~ to a waiting period become: effective.
For these reasons, therefore, I hav-e approved this Amnendmen~t.
