AU G U S T 25, 1986


During the week of August 18-August 22, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's
Agricultural Marketing Service announced 6 commodity purchases totaling
52,089,323 pounds at a cost of $25,558,000.
The purchases were: frozen cut-up chicken and chicken products; tomato
paste; canned tomatoes; frozen beef patties; frozen boneless beef; and frozen
beef carcasses (purchased by the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC)). The
frozen boneless beef program is ended.
Offers were invited for: frozen cut-up chicken and chicken products;
frozen beef patties; frozen beef carcasses; and canned pink salmon.
