During fie/Iweek of May 20-24, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's
A gicultur r L rketing Service announced 14 commodity purchases totaling
17 ids at a cost of $6,581,566.

The purchases were: Canned tuna; dried egg mix; canned apricots, canned
fruit cocktail, canned clingstone peaches, canned grape juice, canned tomato
juice, canned pineapple juice, canned pineapple, dry edible beans, canned
vegetarian beans, canned green beans, canned peas, and canned tomatoes. The
vegetarian beans, green beans, and dry edible beans were purchased under a
set-aside program for small business firms.

Offers were invited for: Dried egg mix and canned apricots.
