During thed y 7-11, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's
Agricultural MarkStci ce announced 6 commodity purchases totaling
12,648,900 pounds at a"cost of $10,390,000.

The purchases were: fresh frozen cut-up chicken, bulk pack chicken,
chicken thighs and drumsticks; frozen ground beef patties; pitted dried prunes
and shelled english walnuts.

All purchases were for school lunch and other domestic feeding programs
with the bulk going to the school lunch program.

Offers were invited for: fresh frozen cut-up chicken, bulk pack chicken,
chicken thighs and drumsticks; and frozen ground beef patties.
