1988.

Apparent consumption Is derived by subtracting exports from the total of net shipments plus imports.
Comparability of output, export, and Import classlircat ons for Ingot and billet assume that bloom, sheer bar, and slab are reported
as ingot or billet in the output numbers. Figures for imports of Ingot and billet also include powder, crystal, and similiar forms which
are excluded from the output and export numbers.
