tives of the Florida Association for Promotion of
Social Legislation for study and report on recommended









legislation. Motion seconded and passed and the
following appointed:

Afternoon Business Session


Following general discussion and debate on the plan of the State
Board of Social Welfare with specific reference to aid Local
Agencies and State Institutions in making case studies, social
histories, etc., the following motion by Judge Chester M.Wiggins
was seconded and adopted:

"Be it resolved that the Florida Probation Association co-
operate with the State Board of Social 'v.Welfare and invite
cooperation with us for our mutual benefit."

Following a report by Judge W. S. Criswell on the Handbook on
Juvenile Court procedure the handbook was approved with in-
structions to the committee that it be published with an in-
dex.

Motion by Judge Wiggins, seconded by Joe Cheney, passed. By
appropriate action the special committee to study legislation
was instructed to continue its work and to report at next
called meeting. This committee consisted of the following:
