Professor William G. Carleton,
University of Florida,
Gainesville, Florida

Dear Professor:

I feel very much ashamed to call on you
at your busiest time for some suggestions on the
speech. You have been most helpful and the memo-
randum you sent me with your letter will be of
great service to me.

I still can't seem to strike on a subject
for the speech, but perhaps something will come to
me before Friday.

I do hope I have the pleasure of seeing you
this summer. In any event, I am looking forward to
meeting you somewhere along the line reasonably soon.

With my warmest regards and again with
my very deep gratitude, I am

Yours very sincerely,
