Foundation de la Mission
de NYARUHENGERI (Kansi)
(Plres Blancs)

La Mission de SAVE, etablie dix ans auparavant, no
suffisait deja plus en 1910 a assurer les besoins de
l'4vang41isation dans la populeuse region du Bwana-Mukari;
aussi Mgr. Hirth decida-t-il de crier dans la province du
Mvejuru une second Mission. Celle-ci fut table le
15 decembre 1910 a Kansi, 'rolongement sud-ouest de la
grande colline NYARUHENGERI, par le Pere Lecoindre et
le Frere Rodriguez qui furent rejoints trois jours plus
tard par le Pere Dufays.

La Mission de Kansi est rientiornn-e dans la plupart des
documents de 116poque sous le nom de Mission de NYARUHENGERI
