Le 22 mars, les chefs Baganda que MUTESA avaient envoy
a Londres 6taient de retour 'a la capital, et remirent solen-
nellement au roi la lettre et les presents de la reine Victoria.

Le 8 juillt 1881, au course d'une audience solennelle et en
presence de toutela Caur, le missionnaire protestant O'Flaerty
qui venait d'arriver d'Europe, se leva au course d'une discussion
et osa declarer froidement au roi que cent anglais suffiraient
bien a conquerir tout lt Buganda
