Province du MAYAGA.

Vera 1906-1907, une parties important du MAYAGA appartenait au
chef munyeginya RUKANGAMIHETU, oncle du roi MUSINGA.
Les Abega, et en rarticulier le chef RUHINANGIKD voulait la mort
du munyeginya et l'aecuserent de vouloir se revolter contre le r4gi-
me.
RUKANGAMIHETU, secretement prevenu, dit-on, par MUSINGA, sauva sa
vie en fuyant dans le Burundi.
Ses collins du MAYAGA furent alors donnees au chef RUTEBUKA (des
Abashyete) qui avait dejh h6rite en 1896 des biens de KARARA, fils
de RWABUGIRI, mort RUTSHUNTSHU collinss situdes au BUYAGA).
En 1918, le fils de RUTEBUEA, BUZIZI, succeda a son pere( qui 1'a-
vait d6sign6 come son successeur eventuel, au roi.
BUZIZI etait encore chef du MAYAGA en 1929.
