We call on the Government of
Jamaica to promote tolerance by:

* Including 'sexual orientation' as
grounds for non-discrimination in
the Charter of Rights and Free-
doms, Chapter 3 Jamaica's Consti-
tution. Sign online petition here
http ://www. gopetition. com/
petition/43320/signatures-pagel.html
* Repealing sections 76, 77, and 79
of the Offences Against the Person
Act which criminalizes consensual
adult male intimacy. This violates
Jamaicans' rights to privacy and
self expression while contributing to
homophobia and the spread of HIV/
AIDS. Homophobia drives gay, bi-
sexual and other Men who have
Sex with Men (MSM) underground
and away from effective HIV/AIDS
prevention, treatment and care ser-
vices.
* Publicly repudiate all violence and
harassment by police, other agents
of the state and private citizens
against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
Transgendered Jamaicans.

TO TOL),ERATEI IS GREAT!

We believe in love, justice and
equality for ALL JAMAICANS?

Jamaica is a country of
TOLERANCE

Discrimination is a daily reality
for far too many Jamaicans.
Let's end it. By our actions and
love we can. Let us begin to ar-
ticulate our motto which says
"Out of Many, One People"
Because, indeed,

TO TOLERATE IS GREAT!
