AN ORDINANCE to amend "The Kings-
town Board Ordinance 1897".
[ 30th October, 1913. ]
Be it enacted by the Governor with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council of Saint Vincent as
follows:-
1. To section eighty-seven of the principal Ordinance
No. 11 of 1897 entitled "The Kingstown Board Ordi-
nance 1897" the following proviso shall be added :-
"Provided nevertheless, that any grievance alleged or
suffered by any person by reason of any mistake
inadvertency or omission if not previously heard
and determined under the provisions hereinbefore
mentioned shall be summarily and finally heard

and determined by the Board at any time before
. the end of the year in which the matter complained
of may have arisen (but not afterwards) on peti-
tion of the person aggrieved in such manner as the
Board may direct. And the Board when neces-
sary may refund any sum awarded to be paid or re-
funded to the petitioner on hearing of . such
petition".

2. This Ordinance may be cited as "The Kiugstown
Board Ordinance, 1897, Amendment Ordinance, 1913" and
shall be read and construed as one with the Ordinance
No. 11 of 1897 herein referred to as the principal Ordi-
nance, and may be cited therewith as The Kingstown
Board Ordinances, 1897 and 1913.


Passed the Legislative Council the 6th day of October, 1913, and
,publi&4ed in the Government Gazette this 30th day of October, 1913.
