AN ORDINANCE to provide for the Service of the
Colony of Saint Lucia for the period April 1st,
1917, to March 31st, 1918.

TITHEREAS it is expedient to make provision for
TV the expenditure of certain sums of money for
the Service of the Government of this Colony :'
Be it enacted by the Governor, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council of Saint Lucia, as
follows :-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Appropria- Short title.

2. There shall be and there is hereby granted to His
Majesty the King, His Heirs and Successors, for the
period between the first day of April, One thousand

nine hundred and seventeen, and the thirty-first day of
March, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen,
both days inclusive, the sum of Seventy-one thousand
and ninety-one pounds, to be paid and appropriated
out of the General Revenue of the Colony for the said
period and other funds of the Colony, and to be applied
and expended in the manner and for the purposes
mentioned in the Schedule to this Ordinance.
