AN ORDINANCE to authorise a Loan of Seven
hundred Pounds from the Trustees of the Baron
Trust Fund towards the construction of a Wing
for Private Paying Patients at the Victoria
Hospital.

[ 21st April, 1917. ]

BE it enacted by the Governor, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council of Saint Lucia,
as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Victoria Short title.

Victoria Hospital (Baron Wing) Loan. [1917.

2. It shall be lawful for the Government of this
Colony to borrow from the Trustees of the Baron
Trust Fund the sum of seven hundred pounds towards
the construction of a wing for private paying patients
to be added to the Victoria Hospital and to be called
the Baron Wing".

3. The interest on the said loan shall be at the rate
of five per centum per annum payable annually, com-
puting from the date on which the said loan is made.

4. The principal and interest of the said loan shall
be payable out of the General Revenues and Assets of
the Government of the Colony.

The loan shall be for a period of ten years subject to
the following conditions-

(a) The Trustees may require repayment of the
principal sum at any time at or after the expira-
tion of ten years from the date of the loan, on
giving to the Government one year's written
notice to that effect.
(b) The Government may repay the said prin-
cipal sum with all interest due thereon at any
time upon giving the Trustees six months notice
to that effect
