routine with its eternal sameness and slow promotion. I am offering
? ; Everglades lands to you because I BELIEVE IN IT, because I BELIEVE
that, while it is now selling at $50, $60, and $80 an acre in ten-
acre tracts on easy monthly payments, it will be'but a short time
until it will be worth $500 an acre. The reputation' of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
drainage of the Everglades.- when drained they will be the GARDEN
SPOT OF THE WORLD and famous the world over, and those fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking, on
the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in their foresight and
-judgment. The national -- I might almost'say international -- 1
reputation of one of the greatest drainage engineersis behind this
great reclamation'projeot. Please investigate it. Above ALL things
get some of it NOW and reap the benefit'of near-future values. In
my opinion, you cannot invest- your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country.

If you annot- work the land yourself, we can show you how it
can be worked for you.

Make up'a party1 go down to the Everglades and see this won- ,
derful country for yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twice

just whaL it is and will do. We show you this wonderful country with
the aid of magnificently colored slides, some of which were made
.... from photographs taken by an employee in the Government Printing
Office. All these things will convince you that HERE is your op-
portunity -- the.one.you have been looking for.

Ladies are particularly welcome at our lecture. We can refer
them to one of their number in the Forest Service, who returned from
a visit to the Everglades enthusiastic over her purchase of twenty
acres. She is urging her friends to buy.*

that, while it is now selling at $50,. $60, and $80 an aore in ten-
aore tracts on easy monthly payments, it will be but a.short time
until it will be worth $500 an acre. The reputation of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
drainage of the Everglades -- when drained they will be. the GARDEN
SPOT OF THE WORLD and famous the world over, and those fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking, on
the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in theirforbieaight and
judgment. The national -- I might almost say international --
reputation of one of the greatest drainage engineers is behind this
great reclamation project. Please investigate it. Above ALL things
get some of it NOT and reap the benefit of near-future values. In
iy opinion, you cannot invest your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country.

If you cannot work the land yourself, we can show you how it
-oan be worked for you.

Make up a party, go down to the Everglades and see this won-
derful country tor yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twice
a month. You will return glad you went, glad you bought.

Come to one of our stereoptioon lectures -- notice enclosed.
Make up a party among your friends and spend 4t pleasant, highly
profitable evening as our guests. Come and see our soil exhibits,
tropical fruits and plants -- take a sample of our soil exhibit
away with you, have it analyzed and prove to your own satisfaction
just whaL it is and will do. We show you this wonderful country with
the aid of magnificently colored slides, some of which were made
from photographs taken by an employee in the Government Printing
Office. All theme things will convince you that HERE is your op-
portunity -- the one you have been looking for.

Ladies are particularly welcome at our lectures. We can refer
them to one of their number in the Forest Service, who returned from
a visit to the Everglades enthusiastic over her purchase of twenty
aores. She Is urging her friends to buy.

We can help you to pay for your land -- oome and let us explain
how we can do this.

Don't throw this letter and literature into the waste paper
basket. Please read it carefully, then pass it along by so doing,

routine with its eternal sameness and slow promotion. I am offering
tverglades lands to you because I BELIEVE IN IT, because I BELIEVI
that, while it is now selling at $50, $60, and $80 an acre in ton-
acre tracts on easy monthly payments, it will be but a short time
until it will be worth $BO5 an acre. The reputation of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
drainage of the Everglades -- when drained they will be the GARDIH
SPOT Of THE TWOLD and famous the world over, and thoe fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking on
the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in thecr .foresigbt and
judgment. The national -- I sight almost say international -l
reputation of one of the greatest drainage engineers is behind this
great reclamation project. Please investigate it. Above AUA thing
get some of it NO1 and reap. the benefit of near-future values. In
my opinion, you cannot invest your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country.

If you cannot work the land yourself we can show you how it
oan be worked for you.

Make up a party, go down to the Everglades and see this won-
derful country for yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twice
a month. You will return glad you went, glad you bought,

Come to one of our stereoptiocon lectures -r notice enclosed.
Make up a party among your friends and spend a pleasant, highly
profitable evening as our guests. Come and Pee our soil exhibits,
tropical fruits and plants -- take a sample of our soil exhibit
away with you4 have it analyzed and prove to your own satisfaction
just whale it is and will do. We show you this wonderful country with
the aid of magnificently colored slides, soqe of which were made
from photographs taken by an employs in the Government Printing
Office. All these things will convince you that HERS is your op-
portunity -- the one you have been looking for.

Ladies are particularly welcome at our leoturevi We oan refer
them to one of their number in the Forest Service, who returned f om
a visit to the Xverglades enthusiastic over her purohas of twenty
acres. She i urging her friends to buy,

We can help you to pay for your land -- oome and let us explain
how we can do this.

Don't throw this letter and literature Into the waste paper
basket, Please read it carefully, then pass it along by so doing,
you will not only aooommodate us, but your friend still more.

Cose and see us at your lunoh hour, or on your way home from
the office. We are centrally located, on the ground floor. Our

Patent Offioe -- our 'phone number is Main 4580. fe shall always be

Dear Doctor

Spme time ago I wrote you asking your

Dixie Highway, and the second day we will go to Pahokee
and hold a meeting there which will, be Friday the 24 th,
This consumes all the time at my disposal. I was very
anxious indeed to go to Okeelanta, which I will do in
the not distant future in my regular work, when I hope to
spe nd a night and day at your plaae.

I trust it will be possible for you and
a number of your citizens to attend the meeting at Pahokee
There will be two or more speakers fromtohe University
of Gainsville, and we are anticipating an interesting
session The meeting will be held in the school house .

You hsve made a good arrangement as to Bunk House and lot.
I donut wcnt to be hard on neighbors in charging for Ford;still,we
have to -avoid setting dangerous precodetnts. In view of something I told
Mr. Prioe, and fact that he is a pioneer at F.C.,aotually hlIping got that
section into shp"-,I can make an exception of him. If we are not out any-
thing on,, fuel, wqgs etc.,let matter stand till I come.
SBailey charges $25.00 per day for hia tractor, with operator and fuel.
Will inquire here what Ford tractor hire is. Wish you would ask, also.
Aocumulsting wear and tear' ars liable to become items,if mschine it let

I imagine p-rty will corn tip Wed., JTn.21,or Sat.follo-ing.( Sperry,

Will ask boat man to carry Msxts tobacco up with this l-tters
All well.

routine with its eternal sameness and slow promotion. I am offering
Everglades lands to you because I BELIEVE IN IT, because I BELrEEV
that, while it is now selling at $50, $80, and $80 an acre in ten-
acre tracts on easy monthly payments, it will be but a short time
until it will be worth $500 an acre. The reputation of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
( drainage of the Everglades- when drained they will be the GARDEN
SPOT OF THE WORLD and famous the world over, and those fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking, on
the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in their foresight and
judgment. The national -- I might almost say international --
reputation of one of the greatest drainage engineers is behind this
great reclamation project. Please investigate it. Above ALL things
get some of it NOT and reap the benefit of near-future values. In
my opinion, you cannot invest your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country. : .

If you cannot work the land yourself, we can show you how it
can be worked for you.

Make up a party, go down to the Everglades and see this won-
derful country for yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twice
a month. You will return glad you went, glad you bought.

Dr. Thos. E. Will,
City.

Dear Dr. Will:

Would you mind allowing our delegation Of
three or four men that will leave here Sunday for
the Lake region for the purpose of taking up the
matter of County division, the use of maps that
you displayed at a meeting. I feel that this would
be a great advantage to them in discussing the sit-
uation and assure you that they will be taken good
care of.

Relative to Norfleet, I have two parties work-
ing on him and in discussing the situation with him
myself, he finally agreed that he would have nothing
to say and that he might come to our side and help us
fight.it through. So far reports are good.

truly,

WCK/J

routine with its eternal sameness and slow promotion. I am offering
Everglades lands to you because I BELIEVZ IN IT, because I BELIEVg
that, while it is now selling at $50, $60, and $80 an acre in ten-
acre tracts on easy monthly payments, it will be but a short time
until it will be worth $500 an acre. The reputation of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
drainage of the Everglades -- when drained they will be the GARDEN
SPOT Of THE WORLD and famous the world over, and. those fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking, on
the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in their foresight and
judgment. The national -- I might almost say ,international --.
reputation of one of the greatest drainage engineers i behind this
great reclamation project. Please investigate, it. Above ALL things
get some of it NOT and reap the benefit of:near-future values. In
my opinion, you cannot invest your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country.

If you cannot work the land yourself, we can show you how it
oan be worked for you.

Make up a party,- go down to the Everglades and see thbi won-
derful country for yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twioe
a month. You will return glad you went, glad you bought.

Come to one of our stereopticon lectures -- notice enclosed.
Make up a party among your friends and spend a pleasant, highly
profitable evening as our guests. Come and see our soil exhibits,
tropical fruits and plants -- take a sample of. our soil exhibit
away with you, have it analyzed and prove to your own satisfaction
just whale it is and will do. Te show you this wonderful country with
the aid of magnificently colored slides, some of which were made
from photographs taken by an employee in the Government Printing
Office. All these things will convince you that HERE is your op-
portunity -- the one you have been looking for,

Ladies are particularly welcome at our lectures. We can refer
them to one of their number in the Forest Service, who returned from
a visit to the Everglades enthusiastic over her purchase of twenty
acres. She 1i urging her friends to buy.

We can help you to pay for your land -- oome and let us explain
how we can do this.

Don't throw this letter and literature into the waste paper
basket. Please read it carefully, then pass it along by so doing,
you will not only accommodate us, but your friends still more.

Come and see us at your lunch hour, or on your way hore from
the office. We are centrally located, on the ground floor. Our
address is 809 G Street, N, I., -- Ouray Building, opposite the
Patent Office -- our 'phone number is Main 4280. We shall always be
glaa to see you and explain things to you, whether you buy or not.

routine with its eternal sameness and slow promotion. I am offering
Everglades lands to you because I BELIEVE IN IT, because I BELIEVE
that, while it is now selling at $50, $60, and $80 an aore in ten-
tBaorP tracts on easy monthly. payments, it will be but a short time
until it will be worth $800 an acre. The reputation of the great
State of Florida and that State's great resources are behind the
drainage of the Everglades -- when drained they will be the GARDEN
SPOT OF THE WORLD and famous the world over, and thosp fortunate
enough to buy now, while the price is, comparatively speaking, on
S. the ground floor, will, indeed, take pride in their foresight and
,r judgment. The national! -- I might almost say international --
reputation of one of the greatest drainage, engineers i behind this
great reclamation project. Please investigate it. Above ALL things
get some of it NOW and reap the benefit of near-future values. In
my opinion,' you cannot invest your money to better advantage anywhere
else in the country. .

If you cannot work the land yourself, we can show you how it
can be worked for you.

Make up a party, go down to the,Evergladep.and sqe this won-
deiful country for yourself. Excursions run out of Washington twice
a month. You,will return glad you went, glad you bought.

Mate up a party among your friends and spend a pleasant, highly
profitable evening as our guests, dome and see our soil exhibits,
tropical fruits and plants.-- take a sample of our soil exhibit
away with you, have it analyzed and prove to your own satisfaction'
just.whbai it Is and will do. We show yoi this wonderful country with
the aid of magnificently colored slides, some of whioh were made
from photographs taken by an employee in the Government Printing
Office. All these things will convince you that HERE is your op-
portunity -I the one you have been looking for.

Ladies are particularly welcome at our lectures, We can refer
them to ope of their number in the Forest Service, who returned from
a visit to the Everglades enthusiastic over her purchase of twenty
acres. She is urging her friends to buy.
